How long does it take for me to receive my order?
Most items are shipped within a day or two, however, some items are special ordered and may take 2 - 3 weeks to arrive (this time frame does not apply to "Rush Orders".)  Please allow up to 3 weeks for your order to arrive.  If your item is back ordered and will take more than 3 weeks to arrive, we will email you to find out if you want to wait for it to come in, substitute a different item or cancel the order.  If you ordered several items to be delivered to the same address, we might send them in separate packages to provide the speediest service.  If you require guaranteed speedier delivery, we recommend choosing 2nd Day or Overnight Rush Order services. Rush Order options are listed on the check-out page.  

Can I shop at your store?  Where are you located and what are your hours?
We are not a "brick and mortar" storefront that is open to the public.  We are strictly an internet business.  By keeping our operating expenses down we can offer competitive prices for Catholic merchandise.  If you live in or near Charlotte and would like to pick up your order to avoid shipping costs, please email us and we will make arrangements to accommodate your request.  

Can I call in my order instead of ordering over the internet?

Can I pay with a check or money order?
We do not accept personal checks.
We only accept checks from institutions such as schools, churches, hospitals, etc.
We accept money orders from within the US.
We do not accept international money orders.
All orders paid by money order must be at least $50.00.
Money orders are processed immediately.

Can you ship my order Overnight or 2nd Day?
Yes, on the check out form there are various Rush Order options to choose from.Rush Orders placed before 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time will be shipped out the same day while Rush Orders placed after noon will be shipped the following business day. Some 14Kt. gold items can be manufactured within 24 hours, others take up to 10 days. Rush Order service is only available to continental US destinations.

I'm looking for a very hard to find medal. Can you have one made up for me?
The cost for creating a new design for a medal is $500.00. After that, there is the cost of each medal. The first order for medals has to be a minimum quantity of 100.  Medals are available in pewter, sterling silver, gold filled & 14Kt. gold.  We would need an image from you of the design you want. Discount Catholic Store, Inc. goes to great lengths to provide our shoppers with maximum internet security. Our web site is secured with SSL ("Secure Socket Layer") which means any information you type in to our web site is encrypted so no one else can see it. While checking out, you will see a little yellow lock pictured at the bottom right hand corner of your screen - this is evidence of the SSL.

Please note: you will not see the little yellow lock at the bottom right hand corner of the screen UNTIL you are actually checking out. While you are browsing the site there is no need for security (encryption). Once you have added all your items to your shopping cart, you will click on a button that says, "Secure Check-Out". At that time, you will be brought to a secure page where you can type in your information.

Additionally, no credit card information is recorded on our web server or transmitted to us via email.Therefore, we have no credit card information stored in our office computers.

It depends upon the item. All RUSH ORDERS are shipped via Fed Ex or UPS so a street address is necessary for an Overnight or 2nd Day order. For non-rush orders, it depends upon the particular item. The BEST thing to do is to put BOTH your street address AND your PO Box address in the shipping address section on the check out form. There are 2 lines for "street address" - put your street address in one of those boxes and then put your PO Box address in the other box. See example below.

The best way to contact us is to email us. We respond to customer emails within 1 business day. During busy seasons such as Christmas or First Communion, response time is 1 - 2 business days.
